Going Plastic-Free with Kowtow

Mar 20, 2024  |  11:00 - 11:45 am

New Zealand brand Kowtow recently announced that it has achieved its goal of being 100% plastic-free. Join us to hear first-hand how they achieved this and learn more about the steps your business could take to follow suit.

Kowtow has long been committed to Fairtrade organic cotton, however, it also recognises the need to go beyond industry norms with its vision to make clothes that can return to the earth without causing harm.

Kowtow has spent the past two years rebuilding its supply chain and sourcing natural alternatives for all its garment components to enable a 100% plastic-free product and has reached its goal of being plastic-free in January 2024. The brand has also open-sourced its “Plastic-Free Handbook” providing a guide and encouraging other businesses to follow suit.
