Ngahuia Williams is a documenter of people and places from Te Tai Tokerau. Currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa, Ngahuia has worked in the fashion industry and creative direction for over 25 years. Having established a career defined by aesthetics, storytelling and visual composition, Ngahuia has expanded her work into nature photography, finding a balance between the natural and the curated. Her work captures the landscape and beauty of the natural world, with a deep interest in people and their wairua. Employing both film and digital mediums, she approaches her subjects thoughtfully, exploring all stories with care.
